RadiessE® FILLER
& Hyperdiluted Radiesse In Corpus Christi

Radiesse is made from calcium hydroxylapatite, a mineral found in human teeth and bones. The calcium is suspended in a water-based gel that provides immediate volume. After stimulating collagen growth, the calcium and the gel are gradually absorbed by the body.

Hyperdiluted Radiesse is simply Radiesse that is thinned out with a mixture of saline and lidocaine. This diluted mixture is then injected superficially under skin, acting as a skin rejuvenation treatment rather than a volumizer.

A collagen scaffold

Radiesse is a volumizing filler used to plump moderate to severe facial wrinkles. Unlike hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, Radiesse has a complex formula that acts as a net for you body to rebuild its own collagen. When the intact formula is injected, it immediately adds volume to deficient areas and contours facial features. Over time, the injected filler is absorbed and metabolized, leaving behind your own naturally restored collagen.

Radiesse is already well-known as an established collagen stimulator. In recent years, it’s been used frequently in a hyperdiluted form as a biostimulatory agent rather than a volumizing filler. This formula alteration improves skin quality and firmness in both facial and bodily areas. So rather than adding volume that plumps, the dilution has more access to more areas that need support, a temporary scaffold for collagen to build around.

Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, Radiesse is thick, almost the consistency of toothpaste. When diluted with saline and/or lidocaine, it can be used on its own or in conjunction with Ultherapy as part of the MultiLift. The thinner substance is injected superficially under the skin which doesn’t add volume, it but it travels to more of the target area to build up support. Diluting the product allows the molecules to reach and trigger even more collagen regeneration.

MultiLift: collaborating on collagen

We’ve developed the MultiLift as a strategy for reinvigorating production of proteins that give skin its elasticity and taut quality, proteins like collagen and elastin are the keys to youthful skin tone. Our approach is to combine Hyperdiluted Radiesse and Ultherapy, two treatments that are each proven in their own right. When combined, the two produce better outcomes than might be achieved by following a single approach. In 2021 we will introduce the MultiLift to our practice.

The MultiLift is suitable for many areas of the body and combines two proven procedures, Ultherapy and Radiesse, to stimulate collagen and lift skin in different ways. Ultherapy is the non-invasive, FDA-approved lifting procedure for the brow, chin, and neck. It uses focused ultrasound energy to stimulate the production of new collagen fibers deep in the foundational level. When new collagen is created the skin responds by lifting and tightening.

Radiesse (Calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) is a unique facial filler with short-term and long-term benefits. It offers instantaneous volumizing, sculpting and lifting as expected from a filler, as well as acting as a scaffold for new collagen production. The results are long lasting and natural since it is your own collagen that is improving skin’s tone and texture.

Aging is the result of multiple factors. When addressing something as complex as sagging skin, a multilateral approach is even more powerful than a single modality.
