HOW BBL® LASERS WORK
BBL HERO addresses imperfections on the surface of the skin as well as deep-rooted pigmentation issues. This quick and comfortable treatment helps eliminate skin pigmentation and allows providers to address multiple areas of concern in a short session with little to no discomfort.
WHAT TO EXPECT WITH BBL®
You can expect to see noticeable changes to your skin within a few days. Blemishes and blood vessels will usually clear up within a few weeks. Within 2 weeks of your first treatment, your skin may feel smoother and appear more even and bright. You may see fewer discolorations, fine lines, and pores. BBL treatment requires little to no downtime. Patients can return to their normal lifestyle and wear makeup the same day. If you have brown spots — the spots will get darker, come to the surface and come off in 5 to 7 days.
BBL FAqs
WHICH AREAS CAN BE TREATED WITH BBL? Most patients get treatment performed on their face, neck, hands, chest, and shoulders. Corrective BBL treats age and sun spots, small facial veins, and various other skin conditions.
IS IT PAINFUL? What you will feel is a bit of warmth as the device is run over the targeted area. There might be a slight discomfort on more sensitive parts such as the upper lip, but otherwise, the procedure is painless. You can apply makeup and return to your daily activities immediately after the procedure. The treated area may appear a little flushed, but it usually disappears after a few hours.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BBL AND BBL CLEAR? While BBL addresses a broader range of skin concerns, Forever Clear BBL targets only one: acne. It uses specific pulses of light—blue, yellow, and infrared—to eliminate acne at the root cause. Blue light is used to kill bacteria located deep in the pores, yellow light is used to treat inflammation and redness, and infrared light is used to speed up the body’s natural healing process. Experts recommend three to four sessions every quarter for Forever Clear BBL therapy, while sessions must be around a month apart for regular BBL treatments. Forever BBL is also four times faster than traditional treatments with minimal downtime (if any) and without the need for anesthetic or medications.
