DERMAL FILLERS

How it works?

What to expect.

HOW DO FILLERS WORK OR ENHANCE APPEARANCE?

Most Dermal Fillers contain hyaluronic acid to promote elasticity moisture, strengthen skin structure, and smooth wrinkles and folds with no downtime. Dermal Fillers can add volume while creating a natural-looking lift for a younger-looking appearance. During the filler procedure, we administer an injection into the targeted area. Fillers have a moisturizing effect and can be combined with neurotoxins for optimum results. You may feel a pulling sensation for a few minutes, which is mild and tolerable. Your skin will get tighter, brighter, and plumper after the first treatment. The procedure is performed in 30-45 minutes. After reaching your desired aesthetic results, further treatments are not necessary.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF DERMAL FILLERS?

The advantages of this treatment include:

  • Non-surgical, non-invasive treatment

  • Same Day Procedure

  • No Downtime

  • Minimal side effects

  • Results can be seen quickly after treatment

  • Results can last from six months to two years, depending on the filler

DERMAL FILLERS FAqs

HOW ARE FILLERS DIFFERENT THAN BOTOX? Whereas botulinum toxin relaxes the muscle-causing wrinkles, fillers fill the areas with a soft tissue gel, usually composed of hyaluronic acid. This adds volume, structure and shape that's been lost back into the face, lifting areas of sagging skin, and smoothing out the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

WHICH AREAS CAN BE TREATED? Common area treated or targeted include the hollow areas with reduced volume, frown lines between the brows, smile lines, cheeks, lines near the corners of the mouth, vertical lip lines, and jawline.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS AND HOW LONG DOES IT LAST? The improvements will become noticeable after the first procedure and continue to enhance after one week. Your results can last six to twelve months. The duration of the filler depends on the area injected and the type of filler used during treatment. Common side effects after first treatment may include an overfilled appearance, swelling, bruising, mild numbness, redness, or lumps on the injected skin, which typical subside within a few days.

The RHA® Collection uses a gentle manufacturing process to help preserve the natural structure of HA—allowing it to more closely resemble the HA in your skin—for clean beauty.

Sculptra®

This FDA-approved injectable subtly and gradually helps restore facial volume.

As a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator, Sculptra helps restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin to diminish facial wrinkles. Sculptra works with your body within the deep dermis to help revitalize collagen production and help restore your skin’s inner structure and volume. As the Sculptra PLLA microparticles are absorbed, they help stimulate collagen production. Rebuilt collagen strands begin gradually helping to restore facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds. Sculptra may stimulate collagen growth which helps to restore facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds over time.

Radiesse®
